Absolutely right Nancy. Even taking them to the groomer on a regular basis the shot is required. Exposing them to dogs on a regular basis is a risk.

And one must remember that if you have more than one dog, and a dog aquires kennel cough, it does spread through all your dogs like wildfire; vaccinated or not. The vaccination does keep symptoms down to a minimum.
