Default Naming a new puppy

I just put a deposit down for a baby girl. She is 8 weeks old today & is so precious. She stole my heart from the very beginning. I am trying to pick out a name now & it's proving very hard for me. I have one name that I really like, but this particular name was also the name of a previous puppy (chihuahua) that I had many years ago that passed away at a young age. Have any of you re-used a puppy name? I thought it would be nice to do it in memory of my lost baby. Is something wrong with that? The "official" name will not be identical, just the call name.

My chihuahua was named Sweet Mary Lou & I called her LuLu. I'm thinking about naming my yorkie baby Lovely Little Lucy Lou & calling her LuLu. What do you all think? I've got a few other names I like as well, but this is my favorite for several reasons. But I don't want to do anything "taboo", if you know what I mean.
