Not good news for the little one. Unfortunately the pup didn't make it.
I was told that she was doing well & actually went home. She then vomited and aspirated. Very sad. The breeder was very upset about the loss. The other 3 in the litter appear very healthy & were all playing & eating like normal.
DH and I still visited & picked out another puppy. I really hadn't planned to put down a deposit on one just yet, but this little gal stole my heart. She is precious & was very lively and playful. At her six week vet check, she weighed 1.2 lbs...She goes in again tomorrow and I'm anxious to see how she's grown. I'm hoping she'll make it to atleast 4 lbs full grown. She won't come home with us for atleast another 4 weeks. It's gonna be a long 4 weeks!
