There is nothing wrong with your baby if he is eating poop and eating more.

Dogs eat their poop mostly because it is behavioral not because they are hungry. He's so young, he could outgrow the behavior. But, he may never completely outgrow it. The best way to deal with this is to keep him on a schedule and when he goes potty, clean it up right away -- take away any opportunity he has to eat his own.

My guess is that the Avoderm is lower in fat than IAMs so naturally he would eat more so I don't find that unusual.
