There is no way to know if your dog will have a reaction to the shots or not until he he has it. Good thing you caught it in time. Call the vet at 12 before you go. I know you want to take him home as soon as possible but he may have to spend a night at the vet.

You may think about going out and getting some children benedryl and keeping it on hand for when he comes home. I don't know how much to give a 2.2lb puppy. Does anyone know?

I neutered my pup at 8 months old. I wanted to wait until his adult teeth were out and have retaining baby teeth removed while he was being neutered.
