You've gotten some great advice, but nine hours is a long time for any dog to be left alone, and especially a yorkie. One of the reasons I like this breed, is they really bond with you and seem more like a little human child than many other breeds. They are needier than some. Have you thought about other breeds or even a cat? They can give you lots of love, but thoroughly enjoy their alone time. Yorkies can live 15 years, it's really a huge commitment, and make sure you're ready to make sacrifices if you take this responsibility. |
