I just quickly looked over some of your posts and honestly don't see where you were "shot down". I did not look at all of them...but the first ones did not even have responses.
You must remember that people on an online forum are all different just as in real life, and will have different points of view. Just because someone may not agree with you, does not mean they are shooting you down. They have a different opinion is all. Best to just give your advice and not expect everyone to agree.
I don't see where you are doing anything wrong at all.
