I have not had a yorkie (or any dog for that matter) in several years and am excited to find a new puppy!

At the moment, I am off work, and will not be working again for about 1-2 months. I was wondering if it would be best to find one right away so that I am home all day to train it in its first few weeks, or should I wait until I am working again?

My concern is that if I am home all day for the first few weeks, it would become used to it and get stressed out about suddenly being left home alone for 9 hours daily. Would this actually be a problem or am I over-thinking it?
