When we got into the office he was so worked up that he pooped on the floor.

So after discussing Dbugs and his HUGE nails that grow like crazy~with a smile the vet says~Good nutrition we talked about Bog again.

He said that he wasn't surprised that the RR didn't work and that pretty much all of the suppliments are hit or miss. Some dogs it work well for and others it is more trial by error and suggested AnxitaneS. So for $8 we left with a box to give it a try. The link that I just posted says it is $33 but I wanted to post the ingredients and picture of the box for informational purposes. The pills are chewable 50 mg tables that I break in half and give to him twice daily. He said that he has had feedback all over the board from immediately working to not helping at all and that I should finish the package before making a decision. Also, if it works we can purchase the supplement from the healthfood store or on line in the chewable form.

I did a little more Googling to see about dosages and it this is not something that you can overdose with. So I am going to give this a try. Between the storms, car rides and walks it is worth a try to see if something that is given daily will help.

Wish me luck

Just wanted to come back and update how this new med is working for my Bog. He's been taking it twice a day for almost 3 weeks and he will not sit in the car quietly. Which is a HUGE improvement. He does much better in the front seat of the car then in the back and it is a work in progress. Last night we had bad thunderstorms and he still shook but was not nearly as bad as in the past. I also put a Tshirt on him and that seemed to help as well. The one variable yesterday was that our air conditioner was out so during the storm we had the entire house open. The boomers even made me jump several times. I did notice that unlike in the past he was able to sit on my lap which we could never do even with the air conditioner running. So that is an improvement as well. The labeling on the package said that they need to take it for 4 to 8 weeks to see the full benefit so I am going to keep giving it to him to see if I continue to see more improvement.

Hope anyone following along will be helped by Bogey's experince as well as improvements.
