I had someone once ask me if they could breed Nicky with there Shih-tzu. First off my sister knows this lady I know nothing about her or her pooch. Second I had NO interest in breeding Nicky in the first place, I have read wayyyy to many stories of breedings gone wrong. Either the male was too big or the female died in giving birth. My not knowing how big or small her girl was Said no. Sooooo the lady sends me an email asking me why not. That she thought Nicky was adorable and with her Mollie they would be beautiful puppies... So me NOT wanting to sound like a witch said... "Do you know ANYTHING about breeding? How old is Mollie, how much does she weigh, is she a pur breed, does she have her papers?" The womans responce back to me was, "Man you ask a lot of questions." yet she failed to answer any of mine, sooo I thought to myself time to get the claws out... so I said back to her. "I know very little about breeding dogs. and I simply refuse to breed nicky just because the dogs are "Cute" there are millions apon millions of dogs that end up in shelters or worse just because someone thought it would be "Cute" to have there dog breed. Nicky means the very world to me, my dogs ARE my children since I cant have any of my own, so therefore when it comes to them and their health I WILL ask as many questions as I see fit, no more or no less. If you don't like that then that is your problem not mine. Furthermore with your lack of breeding knowledge I belive that you too should NOT breed, because she could die in the process of giving you "Cuteness" I would hate to see the welfair of your dog put in jepordy just becuase you think someone elses dog and yours MIGHT make a "Cute" puppy." I HAD to let her have it, sometimes I just can't let stupid go... I HAVE to think of the welfair of the animal. Later she wrote me an email telling me that her puppy HAD to have an emergency historectomy because some male dog got to her when she was in heat, and he was twice her size. I was like OMG I hope he didn't hurt her. But she never got back to me with any info... People like her should NOT be aloud to have animals. UGHNESS
