lol well since i just had a demodex mite scraping by a dermatologist for dee dee while i stood in the room I beg to differ. They scrape down deep until the dog gets a raspberry and then go test on a microscope and guess what if what you say is true crystal then dee dee would have had demodex but she did not. Sorry I have had many mite scrapings on dee dee and from a holistic vet, a dermatologist and a vet and not one of them did it from a fecal so this is absolutely ridiculous. Also a dermatologist goes to school for skin issues much longer than a vet and she will probably laugh when i call her about this.
Also any time a dog is having itching issues it is one of the first things a vet and dermatologist check and dogs with poor immune systems like dd are checked periodically as well as demodex takes over on a dog with a poor immune system and why the dermatologist wanted to rule this out due to her issues with staph infection
and if what you claim to be true why did not one of them ever mention a fecal for demodex for my dee dee or my friends dog sophie that has been battling demodex for years?
I guess we will all have to agree to disagree AGAIN
