You guys have been so kind to me and so supportive that I am dictating this to my husband so you have news. The surgery itself went very well.the beginning was hard because they couldn't find a vein for an IV and ended up doing it in my foot. Waking up in recovery was difficult for a few reasons too but I am home now...very sore and swollen but happy it's over and now real recovery begins. Thanks you guys for all of your well wishes, support and prayers! And to Claire my "surgery sister," I'm praying for you and thinking of you today too!! Can't wait to chat when you are back on your feet! :-) |
