I took Layla to Reiki again today, and again she just laid down and let her work. As she was finishing she told me to keep thinking positive thoughts, and imagine Layla running around and playing, thinking about her favorite toys and favorite things to do and places to be, and to send those thoughts from myself to her. She said she knows Layla will get those thoughts and it will help her brain remember what it's like to walk on all fours and run and play and give her more motivation to heal herself. She said to be positive ALL THE TIME, even if Layla is nowhere around and I'm talking to someone who doesn't know anything happened... she said it's okay to say she had this problem and there was some damage, but SHE IS GETTING BETTER and SHE IS HEALING. I should never say "She might not walk again" She explained that the more we think about those things, the more the universe gives them to us. If we always say we're broke and we can't afford things, we won't. If we think good things for ourselves, good things will happen. I feel that's kind of right when Layla went down and I didn't even give a second thought about affording the surgery or affording the therapy. I just said we're doing it and we will find a way. And what do you know, all this money we weren't expecting (okay the condo profit we expected but money from the lawyer was unexpected) showed up! I just need to believe and Scott just needs to believe and I think amazing things can happen, and WILL happen![/QUOTE]
