| 1. Is there a better age to to do it? Would Charlie be more open now as a puppy or does it matter? Ide get one as soon as you can him being a puppy there more accepting to each other but you can get a puppy when your current dog is any age. Like ceaser says take them for a nice little walk together so he can get to know her on common ground befoe she invades his house 2. Should I get a male or a female for him (hahaha, I can hear the jokes now.) (Charlie is not neutered yet but will be at 6 months. As you can tell I vote for a girl 3. Does size matter? Since Charlie is on the bigger size, is it okay if I get one that's a bit smaller? I'm really looking for one as small as I can and still be healthy due to the severe and debilitating arthritis in my hands. I have trouble now picking up Charlie at a little over 8 pounds. Since you do have a bigger boy I personally would be a little nervous having to small of a new baby its to easy to accidently hurt her but if he seems gentle it wouldnt be to much of an issue. I dont recommed anything under 5 lbs anyways there a bit more work 4. Do I keep them on the same schedule for feeding, etc.? When I feed them, would I put their bowls side by side or should I put them in separate rooms? Same time ide feed them by each other so they dont get food aggressive 5. Same with sleeping. I don't crate. Should I get one big bed for them to share or should each have their own bed and they can decide themselves? One big bed to share and some smaller beds so they can have alone time if they like Any other tips for adding a second?[/QUOTE]
