I just recently got a little brother Bullet (13 weeks old, 2 lbs.) for Rio (15 months, 3 lbs.) and there are definitely pros and cons so far. Rio used to seem "bored" when she was an only child, sleeping a lot and only playing occasionally. Now with Bullet, she plays with him all the time and they are definitely entertaining to watch. Rio is very dog friendly so she accepted him pretty easily. She is also a very finicky eater, and now that Bullet is here, she seems to want to eat more, since Bullet has such a healthy appetite.

The difficulty is trying to potty train and spend time with Bullet who needs soooooooo much supervision right now (we're at about a 50/50 pee and poop accident versus going outside) and I'm afraid Rio is getting jealous. She is a littley mopey and sad whenever I'm holding Bullet. Bullet is very affectionate and loving and wants to sleep on your lap or at least sleep next to you or at your feet. Rio is very much like a cat, she gives affection only on her terms and when she's done, she's done. She never liked to sleep on our lap or even near us. Yet now that Bullet wants to be all snuggly, she seems jealous even though she wouldn't want to do that herself!
