I'll link your post to Brister, Brit will love that you named your puppy after her Jackson--he is truly a cool dog.
As far as the coins in the can, yes both dogs will flinch when they hear/see the can. I would suggest calling out Bogarts name and saying something like "ah-ah" when he starts to bark. Once he stops, make sure to praise and praise. Hopefully he and Jackson will make the connection.
It also will get to the point that you don't even have to shake the can. When I just pick it up mine scramble.
