As far as I know, he didn't adjust it.

I don't really want to put blame on him, I'm new to the whole microchipping thing. It just confuses that here she was a perfectly healthy puppy one day, sees the vet the next and is sick within less than 24 hours of the process. She also had a physical that day before the chip was implanted and she passed with flying colors.
Oh you should be putting blame on him. The needles should ALWAYS be checked to make sure they are secured properly no matter what the procedure is . It is a very simple check and there is NO EXCUSE not to check them for this very reason.
