I always gave my dogs access to water at all times.
As for feeding I free fed until about 5 months then we went to 3 times a day. Now Pixie is almost 10 months and she gets fed 2 times a day.Pixie weighed about 4.5 at 5 months and now she weighs 5.5. she really hasn't changed much in measurments. She is 12 inches long and neck is 7 and girth is 12. Her measurements have stayed the same for about 3 months.
