I think the disease does exist, but not sure that the vaccine has been research much or has been proven to be effective. Honestly, I haven't looked into it simply b/c I do not consider this vaccine necessary for any dog. I'd never tell soebody not to get it, but there is no question in my mind. It is unnecessary....esp. for adults!
