That's like saying a cocker isn't a cocker because it measures over 15 inches.
You might not be able to show a yorkie that exceeds 7 pounds, but that doesn't make it any less a yorkie. The "toy" designation has a wide variation in heights and weights.
And for who ever posted the link about the "fool proof" way to tell a yorkie from a silky...did you actually READ the link? I would take someone who says you can always tell a silky from a yorkie because silky's don't wear bows with a grain of salt. Just sayin...
