i think when i worked for general practice the vet gave revolution and oral ivermectin. That was at least 5 years ago now so i'm not too sure. didn't really deal too much with mange treatments in the surgery ward. |
promeris is new being used for demodex and revolution is being used for sarcoptic mange. When dd started with all her issues they used revolution to rule out sarcoptic mange as sometimes hard to see mites on scrapings so they wanted to be sure since she was around my grandma's yorkie that had scabies.
My friend used ivermectin and interceptor for years with her demodex dog and i recommended promeris and it worked within months she is so happy as her dog had this wet stinky smelly spot on her back. It was gross but no other issues just that. She is a pet store puppymill dog came from same pet store dex came from
before we knew better.
I am just concerned mixing two topical treatments that are strong on a little one could be a problem especially since promeris can make some dogs sick
