Hi there! I use a product called "revolution"by pfizer. I bought it from the vet and it's really easy to use. First off it protects dogs from fleas, ear mites, sarcoptic mange mites, tick and prevents heartworm disease and roundworms. It's basically a liquid which is in a mini vial and I dispense it on the top of Coco's back once a month for 6 months. So far so good, he hasn't had a problem with this at all and keeps me from worrying. Ask your vet about it he should be able to give you detailed information
