If no girls are in season, then it is ok for males to have play time..but IMO to give females and males free range of the house only leads to problems...scan the threads and count the accidents..

I know you are keeping your males separate...but when they are in the yard, smelling where your female has peed and marked...it will only make matters worse...who wants to listen to males whine and bark for weeks at a time?
Good Luck to you
Good informative post! I didn't know just them knowing where she pee peed would make them crazy. I'm so glad my boy is neutered!
