Winnie wouldn't eat either when i first got her 5 weeks ago. I would feed her out of my hand and i used the food for treats and tricks. I would pick the food out of the bowl to show her that's where it was coming from. She liked eating from the floor as well but I didn't want to start that habit. I figured if she was hungry enough she would smell the food and eat it. I bought cat dishes since they are so shallow. It's cute because sometimes she trys to get the back of the dish and her back legs come off the floor. She's up to eating a little less than half a cup a day but I do give her lots of treats for going potty outside so i'm sure that fills her up as well.
One thing that I have noticed is that she poops like 4 times a day! I don't see how such a little dog can poop that much! |
