I've been reading this thread and honestly, I don't think Megansmomma is blaming you for this situation. It's obvious Mindy came to you as she is right now. She's aggressive, probably because she wasn't taught any better. I do think that your enviroment, and by that I mean other dogs, and a litter of puppies, complicate the situation for Mindy. She simply can't cope with her surroundings. Nothing against you, 6 months wouldn't be enough to change her to be a better balanced dog.

From an outsider, I do think it's in everyones best interest to let Mindy go to a rescue. She's been dealt an awful card, and the last thing you need is to endanger the litter you have. I bet you're attached to Mindy, but your home might not be the best for her. I urge you to try again to reach out for help. Be honest, and tell them exactly what happened with the kid that was bitten.
