Back then it was easier to get from some of the top breeders, harder now I think.

I agree with you Donna, I think it is much harder now. I think that too many of the top breeders have been burned too many times. My mentor has told me that she is most cautious with other breeders as they know the right things to say, but don't always keep their word. When I get my new boy next month, I won't be making a move without checking with my mentor first, my reputation for keeping my promises is the most important thing that I have. I find it is way harder now to convince people that you are sincere. You really have to prove yourself.
