I refused to groom a few who had infected teeth to the point they had draining facial abcesses..the owners could not believe a dog could have a bad tooth and not react...once they got them to the vet after my refusals, they felt awful..they dog almost always started acting like a puppy again and they realized it had been suffering...

Yup you are absolutely right. I'm glad I do that otherwise this would've gone overlooked. I've known it was there but thought it was more of a matted hair issue than a scab w/an infection. I'm glad I decided to trim it all up and clean it all out yesterday. She just got finished running circles in my living room. She'd never know she's a baldie right now
