I use washable piddle pads. With those grass things, you have to take them outside or put them in the bathtub to clean them and it just seems gross to me. With the washable pads, all I do is pop them in the washer!
As for the cost....buy them once.....that's it! I do have a place that sells the hospital pads at a very reasonable price, but they are not necessarily pretty. You can buy nice ones from 107Barney or RDB911, YTers.
