I like it too !!! but alas.. my Parti has a tail too.. (can't help it, love those tails)
If a stickie is to be.. the post by Breezyway is perfect.. it can not be less than that as everything in her post is extremely important. It is the basis of everything and to cut it down would be unjust. This is the history, it proves the connection between the Parti and the Biewer and the Yorkie.. it shows they are one in the same.
Granted, they have taken different paths from that point, and the parti's (in my opinion) have a ways to go to "catch up" to their Biewer counter parts in some areas.. but that is happening now and it is happening fast. With the dedication shown by the Parti breeders posting on this thread, I know the future looks very bright.
I want to personally thank Deb from Lowood Farms for all the work she has done helping me connect the dots with the history of the Biewers. She has done more for the Biewers than most Biewer breeders have and I appreciate all she has done. What I have always known in my heart, now makes sense and I will continue on the path believing.. KNOWING that the Biewers/Parti's are color variations of the Yorkshire Terrier and should be thought of and treated as a Yorkie.. not a seperate breed. Research has proven it, pedigrees have proven it, even Biewer history, if one looks, says the same thing.
It's really so simple and clear if one doesn't try and make it so complicated..
