Don't start judging me again Linda.. She indeed has limits set for her. She is loose in the house because she will bark non stop if in a crate or confined in any way. She jumps over the x-pen if in that. I have her tethered to me as much as possible. When people come over I confine her to my bedroom and she just goes ballistic barking and digging at the door.
Saturday was the first time she tried to hurt the pups. We thought she just wanted to play with them before that because she would sit and whine.
When we have pups they are always confined to the kitchen or an x-pen. This is the first time we have had pups since last year, way before she came to stay (in Dec).
She only goes after the pups when I am right there taking care of them like she did yesterday. And that was the first time she actually got a hold of one. She stopped as soon as I told her too and then when I walked away from the pups she did as well..
it's as if ANYTHING that takes my attention from her is fair game to her. If I have a dog in my arms, she will jump up and bite them sometimes. She used to do that more. When I let everyone out potty in the morning she goes after Rose every single time.
SO I started carrying her as I let the other ones out and she just goes ape sh*t. It literally takes both my arms and hands to hold her, she is really strong for an 11 pound dog.
