I am NOT going to have her put to sleep..The first vet she saw recommended that. MY regular vet suggested drugs and that is who I am seeing on Thursday. But I still cannot keep her even if on drugs because it can take weeks for them to work, IF they work at all and I have been threatened by one of my sons friends parents to turn Mindy in to animal control. they WILL tag her as vicious because that is the law here once a dog has bitten.
They take her and put her in isolation (quarantine) and most likely put down. They want us to pay their sons medical bill because she broke skin and they went to ER.. Our property insurance will pay for it but then our insurance goes up for having a "vicious" dog..
She bit this kid (he is 18) almost a month ago and drew no blood, the she bit him again 2 days ago and contacted us today demanding money..
