Hello!! welcome to YT!!! I am the proud mommy of a very happy 8 almost 9month old boy named Monster.. He is a very robust 8 lbs!!! lol.. i still carry him everywhere and to be completely honest i thought i wanted a smaller one, but when u hear 8lbs, 10 lbs, u think of that as a bigger dog,, it sooo is NOT.. my lil guy is PERFECT.. If i wanted to i could probably dress him up real cute or stuff him in purse..lol.. , but once u own a yorkie u kinda forget all that foolishness.. I am so in love with him and he is so in love with me.. Yorkies literally fall in love with their mommy or daddy and will not leave ur side.. THE BEST DOG EVER!!! ((in my opinion)) Also, I have a california king bed that is a lil high and he jumps on and off with no problem which he couldnt do safely if he were any smaller.. And because ur baby will adore u so much, u LITERALLY will be stepping all over him/her when he/she is a puppy so i like that i dont have to worry about if he gets underfoot he will get hurt.. Also the health issues.. Thank God my Monster is a good size, cus recently he was ill and would not have made it if he was a tiny lil thing.. so dont be disappointed if u get a good sized dog, they are the best!! and yorkies are a TOY breed anyway, so they are all small..
