The bag I have says 1/4-1/2 a cup. I got Precious at an age WAY too young (I know better now) and she would barely eat 3 tablespoons (she was on wet food then) I had to force feed her. She hated it so I asked the vet if I could try dry kibble and as soon as I switched she gobbled it up like she'd never eaten in her life. I make sure I give her treats throughout the day when she "goes" outside as well. She also has water available at all times. As long as your puppy is "your" puppy and doesn't seem lethargic and is eating the recommended amount of food I'm sure it'll be ok. BUT I am not a vet and of course any concerns you have please don't hesitate to call
