My yorkie actually has a very good relationship with out persian. They have kissing sessions where he licks her face all over and she actually lets him!. I am thinking about the same thing though because I REALLY want Paddy to have sister now that he tries to play with the cat like she's a dog and she doesn't always get it. I actually applied for a rescue today because I think this little girl yorkie would be PERFECT. Those applications are intense. Here is hoping I at least make it far enough to meet her.
