I just got a new baby girl. My boy, Doobie, is very spoiled and loves attention! He did NOT react very well to MJ's arrival! It's been a month and he is now adjusting. Think of it as adding a new baby to the family. The existing child will be curious but at the same time jealous! Doobie did not pay any attention to MJ the first two weeks. Around the third week, he started coming around a bit. He would sniff her and when she tried playing with him, he'd give a bit of attention but then jumped up on the couch minutes later
... now, they play together for about 20 minutes 3 times a day! She is growing on him and he is realizing he is still loved very much. Worst of all is that MJ is hypoglycemic and required alot of attention so Doobie didnt get as much attention as Iwould have liked to give him but now she is doing much better and he has all the attention back
