Dear Jen...I have thought about you so much and remember you and your family in my prayers. You must be so overwhelmed with grief and I just feel so sad for you!
One thing I am grateful for is to hear that you have a wonderful, comforting husband who is doing whatever possible to help take some of the pain and sadness away! Knowing you have him makes me feel better!
I don't want to tell you to go get that puppy...do what your heart tells you. I will tell you though, when I got Maddie, just looking at her cute little face and the things she did, made me laugh and smile more than I had in a long, long time! I want that for you...to be able to smile and laugh now and then. I'm not saying you will forget about the sadness of your Mom and Katie...the grieving process doesn't stop in a few weeks or even months, but I'd think a little precious yorkie would help you through that grieving process.
