Some solutions say, only for use on the contacts, some say you can use when your contacts in the eye, as long as you can use it in your eye, I would guess it would be safe, but I would call my vet to be sure. Sorry, I answered so quickly. The exact ingredients of the eye wash is 99.05 purified water, and boric acid, sodium borate, and sodium chloride, preserved with edentate disodium and sorbic acid.
