Yeah, if he'd not tear the zipper open it's not bad! We've only had him since Monday, but I put him in there with his bed, food & water and a pee pad. He's taken to it well, pees on the pee pad. The bottom seems to be waterproof(ish) I think, although I haven't really tested it to see if it really is. I really like that you can zip and unzip the top, it keeps him from jumping out but also makes cleaning it and putting him in and out easy. The zippers on the side doors kinda get stuck when you zip them around the corners at the bottom and seem like they're sorta cheaply made (which is probably why he's able to break them open), so I was trying not to open and close them more than I had to.
I looked for a while before making this purchase and didn't find anything out there that looked better. I knew I wanted a pen with a top and bottom and I wanted a smaller size since we live in a condo and have limited room. A traditional metal ex pen probably works better, but they all seemed so big and we really don't have the space. |
