I am a new Yorkie Mommy also. I had the very same problem with my yorkie baby for several days also. I found she would eat from my hand and drink from her water bowl if I held it, for the first few days. I also give her NutriCal each day to suppliment to make sure she is getting enough nutrients.
We have had "Princess" for a month and she now eats and drinks on her own.
