I am so sorry, you and your lil guy had to go through that!!!!!!!!!
Been there, when I first got Shay, I researched and looked at a few places...well I finally decided on a place, in Knoxville, supposedly the BEST place to go....well...my lil one, ended up being given something to calm him down..
... Anyone that knows my Shay, calmed down would be dead! he is so mellow...I brought 2 pictures with me and said NO SHAVING.... I went in to pick him up, and he was lifeless in the kennel (I was waiting outside, cause he was only 1.9Lbs. and told them I was waiting in truck) I wasn't even sure that was my baby, till he looked up at me all dazed...I started asking questions, and demanded answers, I was treated horribly, for daring to question them....thank GOD Shay ended up okay....but not before, I filed complaints everywhere I could think....I now groom him myself, it may not always be perfect! but am getting better at it, and I know he is okay...so that makes up for it....
