Mine would shred paper pee pads too. Yours won't be able to do that with washable pee pads. If you get about five big ones, then use one or two a day and then wash them with bleach and detergent in hot water. Don't know about the water dish. I think i've seen ones that suction to the floor. Or you could get the stand that the dishes sit inside of. She may not be able to knock it over with that. Hope this helps
