Default Getting puppy to eat and drink . . .

We finally brought our boy home today and are so in love! His name is Niko and he was born Jan 2nd 2010. He got car sick several times on the long ride home (3 hours) vomiting clear liquid with a small amount of yellow. Once we got him home he ate a very small portion of his dinner and drank a small amount of water but has not really had any further interest. The breeder said he ate "a little" earlier today but would need dinner tonight (1/3 cup royal kanin #33 with some wet puppy food-his usual meal), so I provided it but he didn't eat much. I tried to give him some nutrical, which he licked a bit but has no real interest. I added it to his food, along with some cheese and chicken. I haven't seen him urinate yet, but he's not really drinking much at all so it's not that surprising.

This is our first yorkie so I'm really not sure how to make him eat or drink, the food and water are out for him. I don't know when I should get worried either. We're planning to go to bed soon and I wish he'd eat and drink more before we do. We'll keep him in an ex pen tonight with his food and water, along with a stuffed puppy that has heat and a heartbeat. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
