Do you work with anyone your age at work that you could get a drink/coffee after work or something? How about any dog lovers? I wish I were near you and could help you or just be a friend in the flesh. You sound so overwhelmed and lonely. My heart is breaking for you and Layla.
I really have nobody around. I do feel very alone. We just moved to a new town 2 weeks before this happened so I didn't get a chance to meet anyone until this weekend. And that didn't go so well. Most people at work are quite a bit older, and I really feel like when I talk about Layla or how upset I am, I would just end up crying and I don't want to be like that with my coworkers.

My brother lives 20 minutes from me but some drama went down a couple of months ago and his girlfriend threatened to leave him and she now hates me and my parents and so now my brother really won't talk to any of our family anymore. My mom did get through to him right after Lay's surgery and told him to call me because I have been really upset, but I never got a call. So he's kind of out of my life now too.

It's just me and Scott on this road to recovery alone with our baby. I know that there is a lot of support and love out there but it's just going to be over the computer.
