If the vet says she's okay, she is probably okay. Just because a dog comes from a mill does not mean she will develop an issue. The chances are just so much higher because the people "breeding" the dogs do not care for the welfare of the animals; they care about money. They do not test for genetic diseases, do not breed for proper standards, and often don't care for the dogs in a manner you would want them to be cared for. If you want more information about puppymills there is a lot out there are there are videos that are quite disturbing and graphic so I would talk to your mom about your concerns and maybe you could look into it together. Please don't let this information affect your relationship with your dog. She is your baby now and you should love her as such. As long as you keep up with regular vet appointments as you should with any dog, things will probably be okay. We are not trying to argue with you; just give you advice as per your question. It is not advised that you breed a dog when you know nothing about her background genetic and otherwise. And in the future, if you decide to get another dog, a pet store is not the place to go.
Love your baby for who she is. All dogs deserve love no matter where they come from.
