It is sad that it can be difficult to find a reputable breeder. So many puppies come from mills and backyard breeders. I came to this site hoping to get advise on finding a good one. Just because a puppy is from a mill does not mean he/she should be loved any less. It is not their fault they were born into such an environment. You live, you learn. When you walk into a pet store with puppies it is so hard not to fall in love and want to take one home, but the only way to stop puppy mills is to stop buying from the places they sell to. If they can't make a profit, they will stop doing it.
