yep good to have 100% agree but prepare for the worst and hope for best is what i always say
On a first bee sting I would make sure my dog was not allergic to a bee sting as in a tiny dog if you do not react quickly and just give benedryl the dog could die so once you know your dog does not have an allergic reaction to bees then yes benedryl is safe if your dog does not get amped up on it that is
I have dealt with hives twice with dd as she has horrible allergies and she got hives from simplicef an antibiotic and once from we think she licked dh neck and we think his cologne caused her to break out in hives within an hour. They are hard to get rid of too and took 5 days each time
Allergic reactions are nothing to mess with and can be deadly in some dogs as we saw with Brandi. It can happen very fast
There are 250lb humans that die of bee stings dh friend did not have his epi pen on golf course and was stung by a bee and died as he was allergic to bees so imagine what would happen in a 5lb dog if you do not react quick
