You know what? I ALWAYS cited that as a top thing about Cali to all my friends in college (to make them jealous). I've yet to actually do it myself, though - so I'm all talk! I have friends and family who have, though, so I know it is not just theoretically possible.
I just prefer warm weather. I've never even tried snowboarding or skiing, even when I lived in states with "real" winter. I really should try, though, shouldn't I? Maybe we should get a yorkie-group together to go to Mammoth or Big Bear with our fur-babies so that they can stay inside and keep each other company while we go out?
