You got the wrong idea my friend. You don't want to go over people, you want to go around them
quick. I drive a Civic Si, 4 cylinder. I have yet to spend $40 in gas, but when driving my dad's V8 truck, YIKES! I spend up to $75. I can't go back to driving automatic, just too boring! I love how I can make the car respond quickly to what I need it to do to get in and out of traffic. If you see a black blurr on the freeway, that was me.
