As far as the coccidia there is a new drug out our vet just switched to which is called Marquis.Prescription only. It took 2 treatments, cost 9 dollars and we are coccidia free. Good Luck to you and your baby. |
I used the safe-guard for cows when I buy a big bottle. Otherwise I use the one for sheep (small bottle).. Of course it is ALL the exact same. It is what I used for Pennie. Heck of a lot cheaper. Just ask your vet for the proper dosage when using it. I had it on hand already so that is why I used it.
I have it on hand because it is a de-wormer as well and I use it on my dogs every couple of months.
I have gotten giardia before.. GROSS... green poo. TMI yeah? hehe And got rid of it in a couple of days. It is SO easy to get.
If you have children, just use good hand washing and keep children from petting the puppy for 5 days, and bathe the puppy during treatment and after!!
