Reputable breeders breed for the betterment of the breed and would NEVER mix breeds to make a designer dog. EVER!
Anyone that is selling puppies in a strip mall is getting their supply from a mill.

You are not going to find a lot of Yorkie puppies in rescue. Fill out an application on the YHR site if you are interested in adopting.
You can also look at YTCA for a list of good breeders. Make sure you do your homework. Good luck in your search
